Village Council of Key Biscayne closing McIntyre Street?

January 30, 2020 by Carlos Leave a Comment

With all traffic problems and congestion going on in the intra-local streets that closing McIntyre Street that divides the Civic Center campus is being considered as a good idea. Council member Mike Kelly is once again showing his near sightedness along with the ” opens pace tribesman” that support such a regressive idea.  First the Fire Station abuts McIntyre Street. There Fire Trucks need to use it when emergency call requires it. Secondly, it is major access artery from the condominium district to the Community Center. The brain dead idea also accompanies closing Greenway Way that travels to the doorstep of the Community center itself. Thirdly, part of Greenway provides rear access to Suntrust Bank drive thru. This easement was provided in perpetuity by written agreement between Village municipality and building owner. At the time the existing Key Biscayne Bank property in the rear (Community Center building sits)was exchanged for the frontage on Crandon Boulevard.

Suggestions like this requires serious consideration not for it merits but rather charter amendment to reduce the amount time Village Council meets as a governing body.

Marine Stadium lawsuit to stop South Florida Boat Show is too late.

January 30, 2020 by Carlos Leave a Comment

Unfortunately for the Village of Key Biscayne going to court to stop the City of Miami from renovating the Miami Marine Stadium for the South Florida Boat Show is futile. The Village Council for years wanted athletic fields on Virginia Key. But when a fantastic master planned athletic compound on steroids was proposed Mayor Many Diaz the Village of Key Biscayne was in opposition to its size and scope. Basically fearing the change they sought. The plan was tremendous with over two different venues for soft ball, hard baseball, track and field, Football stadium , expanded Rowing facilities and dormitories for visiting athletes  and even bird watching stands on nature preserve!  The Village of Key Biscayne joined forces with the Friends of Virginia Key along with Friends of Marine Stadium to quash Miami Mayor Manny Diaz’s splendid plan for a state of the art facility for all Miami-Dade County’s young ones. History must recall that the Village of Key Biscayne also went to court over renovations to Miami Seaquarium in 1990’s.  Now look the VKB community ‘s worst nightmare is upon us, more commercial development on Rickenbacker Causeway. With it ten events a year on the stadium site instead of young kids off the streets competing in sports throughout the entire Virginia Key….

The old saying “be careful what you wish for” applies to Village leaders throughout the island city’s young history. Most recently Councilman Luis Felipe de la Cruz is quoted in the Miami Herald article, telling Deputy Miami City Manager Alice Bravo,  “You told us that phrase that I love, that we would be ‘at the table.’ At the table for what? To be spoon-fed whatever you wanted to tell us?”Read more here: http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/miami-dade/key-biscayne/article8530022.html#storylink=cpy

Sometimes amateur actors should portend to be professional politicians. All Past Village Councils are guilty of lack of vision to the major government on Mainland “to just say no to all things on Virginia Key” is a retarded approach   óó MacontheRock óó

Israeli Air Force Cannot bomb Iran easily without Jordan.

January 30, 2020 by Carlos Leave a Comment

Washington D.C. -U.S. military action to deter Iran from advancing it nuclear capability could easily spark a full-blown war. Iran might retaliate against U.S. troops and allies, launching missiles at military installations or civilian populations in the Gulf States of Saudi Arabia Qatar a United Emirates. Since sectarian tensions in Iraq have already spun out of control, reminiscent of a full blown Arab Spring, it does not limit the strong possibility the only alternative for Israel or the United States is the very risky bunker bombing run on Iran three most important nuclear sites in Nintaz, Fordo and Qom. The Bombing mission itself cannot be conducted by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)  F-15’s warplanes because these sites are over 700 miles from Israeli air force bases. This would require midair jet refueling over Iranian air space. While Iran will continue ordering terrorist attacks against Israel and the United States in the interim, the American public must be reminded that Iran was invited to Iraq and will soon be appearing in Syria to defeat ISIL presence in both countries. The ultimate response will be ‘Ordinance Penetrator’, a 30,000 pound bomb only available to US Air Force. This bunker buster bomb has proven to perforate 200 deep of reinforced concrete. This is perfect for the nuclear mountainside site in Qom. If these bombing missions occur sooner than later, Matthew Kroenig of Foreign Affairs.com, published by the Council on Foreign Relations, points out that China and Russia, will not stand by without action. It will attempt to economically and diplomatically isolate the United States to further inflame tensions in the Muslim world against the US. This would include encouraging the closing of the Strait of Hormuz, through which roughly 20 percent of the world’s oil supply travels.

Barack Obama is using Jimmy Carter’s playbook on Iran. Failure!

January 30, 2020 by Carlos Leave a Comment

Person Gulf, Iran– CNN television networks reports that mid-air incident occurred over the Persian Gulf endangering a US Navy MH-60R armed helicopter flying from the deck of the USS Carl Vinson on a routine patrol in international airspace when it was crisscrossed by an unarmed Iranian observation Y-12 aircraft. At time the two air crafts where less than 50 yards apart. The Iranian aircraft made two passes at the American Navy Helicopter. To avoid an unnecessary incident at the moment of intense negotiation over Iran’s nuclear developments a helicopter crash or a shoot down would be catastrophe for diplomacy with profound implications and distrust between the two countries. The US pilot deliberately broke off and flew away in a ‘predictable’ manner so the Iranians could not misinterpret any U.S.  maneuver as aggressive action. This goes to show you The Iranians are provoking an international incidence as an excuse to delay compromises as it gets closer to nuclear enrich uranium that can not be bunkered bombed.

President Marco Rubio is Sprite Lightning

January 29, 2020 by Carlos Leave a Comment

Back In 2009 as Marco was down 30 pts. in the polls to a sitting Florida Governor Charlie Crist , I made plea to then Ex-Speaker of House to allow me to be his point man in Village Key Biscayne . He accepted. On December the ninth (9) I hosted a fundraising event at the Ocean Club Tower I Lobby. He is natural stance lit up the room in 17 minutes speech. $18,000.00 was raised for his Senatorial campaign. At the time history shows Unbeknownst to me, Marco was having doubts about staying in the race. For timing to be everything, it must begin with initiative finesse and tempo on the part yourself and within your sphere of influence. Throughout the campaign I blogged at his defense. I went to all the mainstream liberal sites to reply to disparaging comments about his candidacy. I came to his defense in hard hitting personal and provocative manner, letting the reader know liberalism is bipolar political disorder manifested in the annals of corporate propagandists at the Hoffington Post, Gawker, The Turks, as well to MSNBC, CNN CBS and print lame-stream media at Washington Post, Miami Herald, Tampa Bay Times and New York Times

It is a character trait I most value in myself and certainly believe it to be his biggest strength as leader.

His youth makes it more daunting for The United States to have the opportunity to serve him in this way. Let’s make him President. Would it be fitting for President Rubio in the White with the opportunity to dagger The Castro Tyranny out of power? It would be my greatest private victory.

Stay tuned to Blink Radio WSQF 94.5 FMLP on the Destresso Hour  7PM- 4PM- 8Pm weekly with host MacontheRock and special guest Presidential candidate US Senator Marco Rubio TBA.
